Dr. German Ramirez-Yañez has recently been appointed the role of Assistant Professor at the Department of Preventive Dental Science, Faculty of Dentistry, University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada.

Settling a research lab at the Dental School, Dr. Ramirez-Yañez will be conducting research to evaluate airways and determine the muscular activity in patients with malocclusions. His research involves use of the TRAINER System™ and how the MRC appliances treat Soft Tissue Dysfunctions and improve breathing in patients. Dr. Ramirez-Yañez has been awarded with an industrial grant from the Myofunctional Research Co. (MRC) and an agreement has been signed between MRC and the University of Manitoba to support Dr. Ramirez-Yañez’s research.
